The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a prestigious scholarship that provides international students with the opportunity to pursue PhD or EngD training in Singapore. Offered by the Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR) in partnership with leading Singaporean universities, SINGA is designed to support students with outstanding academic records and a strong interest in research.

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all international graduates with excellent academic results and a passion for research.
- Primarily intended for international students who have not previously studied in Singapore.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Strong academic references.
- Eligible for PhD or EngD studies in Biomedical Sciences, Computing and Information Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Physical Sciences.
Scholarship Coverage
The award covers up to 4 years of PhD studies, including:
- Tuition fees.
- Monthly stipend of S$2,700, increasing to S$3,200 after passing the Qualifying Examination.
- One-time airfare grant of up to S$1,500.
- One-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000.

- Recent passport-sized photo (in .jpeg or .png format)
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s academic transcripts in English translation.
- Bachelor’s Degree certificate(s) or a letter of certification if the degree has not been conferred.
- Two recommendation reports (submitted online by referees).
- GRE scores for NUS supervisors/projects (optional for other applicants but may be requested).
- IELTS/TOEFL/SAT I & II/GATE results (optional, but may be requested later).
