The Eric Bleumink Fund provides scholarships to talented students from developing countries to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Groningen. Selection Criteria
Candidates for the Eric Bleumink Fund should meet the following criteria:
- Admission: Must have received provisional or unconditional admission for a master’s programme before February.
- Academic Performance: Demonstrated excellent academic performance, preferably confirmed by letters of recommendation.
- Grades: Outstanding grades during their bachelor/undergraduate studies.
- English Proficiency: Excellent English language proficiency, in accordance with the admission requirements of the chosen programme.
- Availability: Must be available for the entire duration of the programme and able to participate fully.
- Health: Must be in good health and capable of obtaining health insurance.
- Nationality: Must hold the nationality of an eligible country.
- Financial Need: Should have no other means of financing the study.
Grant Information
- Duration: 1 or 2 years Master’s degree programme.
- Coverage: Tuition fee, international travel costs, subsistence, books, and health insurance.
- Note: The number of grants awarded is limited, and competition is high.
Application Process
- Automatic Consideration: It is not possible to actively apply for the Eric Bleumink Fund Scholarship.
- Nomination: Suitable candidates will be informed about their nomination.
- Admission Offer: Only applicants who have received a provisional or unconditional admission offer for a master’s programme before February will be considered.
- Application Deadline: To allow sufficient time for processing, the master’s application should be completed before 1st December.
